People Place & Photography is an exploration, where you’ll explore a city through the lens of your camera and creative locals. Are you a creative spirit, a visual storyteller, and driven by curiosity? Let’s explore together!

  • For 2 days, we will host a group of photography enthusiasts. Together we will explore The Hague through photography, storytelling, and meaningful connections.

  • Because we want to help people to go out there, get these stories & have them published around cities, and its inspiring locals.

  • We work with local hosts and local photographers, who will guide us across walk through striking corners of the city, and introduce you to interesting locals and places.

  • Since it’s a paid exploration and we only have limited seats available, we would like to get to know you, connect in person and share further detail. Book your seat today!

HOW CAN I TAKE PART?

The exploration is a full day program, exploring a city through photography, meeting inspiring local makers, having a good time as a group, and capturing inspiring stories. But you can book them separately, this is what’s included:

24 September

  • During the day we will go on various photo walks around the city. Led by a local photographer, you will receive assignments that help you capture the beauty of the city.

    Alongside the walk, we will also meet and talk to local makers, for their perspective on Berlin.

  • Each day you will get the opportunity to edit, review & present the stories you’ve captured.

    Through these rounds of feedback, you’ll be able to improve your style and work.

  • Something we aim on creating after the exploration is to have your stories published both online and in a collective zine, to be launched after the trip.

  • We speak from experience, after this experience, you’ll have made friends and stories for life.

  • The price is excl. VAT (+ invoice available).

    From this fee, we will be able to pay for experts and create a quality program for you.

  • No, it is a paid experience. With the fee, we’re able to create a quality program, work with local experts and cover additional cost.

    By signing up via the form, we will be in touch with more information and itinerary.

  • Alcoholic drinks & accommodation are not included since we’ve learned that people have their own preferences. We have suggestions that we can share and book them for you.

    Travel such as train, and flight tickets, same as travel & cancellation insurance, are things that you need to arrange yourself.

  • We prefer calling this exploration a ‘program.’ We carefully curate what we do, who we meet, and who we work with in cities. It’s a lot more than walking around with a camera.

    Surely you’ll learn more about photography but most importantly be meeting new friends and looking at cities from a different perspective.

  • Absolutely, we’re not made out of sugar and we will find ways to keep on exploring, through photo walks, meeting locals, dinners, etc.

  • Yes, that would be advisable. If you don’t own a camera or lenses, we can connect you to trustworthy local rental companies. All costs involved will be yours.

  • You get a full refund if you cancel the exploration four weeks before the starting date.

    After that, we will only refund 50% at cancelling before the exploration.

  • We will have a full-on program, from a welcome evening to the first and final day. But we will make sure to give you the possibility of free-time throughout the day.
